Update 20 April 2020

The Government has confirmed that we will be in lockdown for at least another three weeks.

It’s been a huge change for all of us and here at the farm we’ve adapted how we operate to ensure all our customers, and especially those who are self-isolating or vulnerable, still receive a premium customer service from Ginger Butchers.

We’ve been working hard to get your orders out to you when you need them; introducing the two day lead-time from date of order has really helped us.

To assist further, we’re refining the days of our free local deliveries to outlying areas by our own refrigerated fleet of vans to help our customers know when to expect us.

We’re now going to be delivering to the following areas weekly:

Daily deliveries continue for areas in and around Bakewell – up to 4 mile radius.

Please Note: Areas indicated are a general guide and may overlap onto more than one Local Delivery Day, please use our online Postcode Checker to determine whether Local Delivery is available in your specific area and on which day.

FREE LOCAL DELIVERY: There’s no delivery charge but the minimum order value is £30.

We will send a SMS reminder for your Local Delivery, please ensure you provide any specific delivery instructions if you will NOT be home to accept your order. Failed deliveries cannot be refunded and may incur an additional repeat delivery charge.

We’ve changed the hours for Click & Collect from the farm. You can now pick up your orders between:

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 12 noon - 17:00

SATURDAY: 10.30 - 13:00

Visit our website at: gingerbutchers.com/shop/ to order online.

Call the farm on: to place an order for delivery or collection, we will call you back to confirm your order and take payment.

To assist you in collection and to comply with current social distancing directives, please call us on arrival at the farm and we will load your meat order directly into your car boot.

Please Note: If you're using your SatNav to find us, please enter postcode DE45 1HQ which will direct you straight to the Farm.

For our customers who live further afield, we use a national courier service and there are no changes to this service at this time. But please bear with us as national couriers are outside of our control.

Don’t forget, please only place orders or make edits to orders online or via phone as we can’t always monitor and respond to social media messages.

We really appreciate your continued custom and support.

Jim, Gill, Tom & Ed Armstrong

Stay Safe. We're here for you however long it takes.
