Update 17 January 2021
DENBY POTTERY VILLAGE - Temporarily Closed
Denby Pottery Village has made the difficult decision to temporarily close the whole site from 4pm on Saturday, 16 January pending the easing of lockdown restrictions. This decision means that the Ginger Butchers outlet, which includes the Butchers Counter, Farm Shop and Deli, will also temporarily close its doors until the site is reopened to the public.
To support our customers in the Denby area, we are organising twice weekly Click & Collect services on Wednesdays & Saturdays between 12 noon - 2pm, starting next Wednesday, 20 January. Customers simply order online as usual and book available collection slots.
Alternatively customers may call: 01269 814280, choosing Option 1: Farm & Butchery, to order via telephone and arrange pick up from the Ginger Butchers team stationed at the designated collection point in the customer carpark at Denby Pottery Village. Appropriate PPE will be worn by all team members and we ask that only one person from each household attend to collect orders. Social distancing to be observed at all times.
Our shop in Bakewell remains open and our customers can continue to order online with Click & Collect from both our Bakewell Butchers & Farm Shop and New Close Farm in Over Haddon.
Our website has been updated to include all Click & Collect locations so you can select your preferred option. Please allow 48 hours before collection so we can prepare your order to your specific requirements. Please note Click & Collect operating hours:
Mon-Fri: 12 noon - 16:00
Saturday: 09.00 - 12 noon
BAKEWELL SHOP -
Mon-Fri: 09.00 - 15:00
Saturday: 09.00 - 16:00

In the event that you are unable to reach us by phone on arrival at the Farm, we have installed a doorbell by the main collection door which you may ring for attention. To assist you in collection and to comply with current social distancing directives, we will bring your order out to you and pop it directly into your car boot.
Please Note: If you're using your SatNav to find us, please enter postcode DE45 1HQ which will direct you straight to the Farm.
We continue to deliver daily within a 4 mile radius of Bakewell, and have weekly deliveries to:
WEDNESDAY - SOUTH SHEFFIELD
THURSDAY - BUXTON
FRIDAY - HOPE VALLEY
Please Note: Areas indicated are a general guide and may overlap onto more than one Local Delivery Day, please use our online Postcode Checker to determine whether Local Delivery is available in your specific area and on which day.
FREE LOCAL DELIVERY: There’s no delivery charge but the minimum order value is £30.
We will send a SMS reminder for your Local Delivery, please ensure you provide any specific delivery instructions if you will NOT be home to accept your order. Failed deliveries cannot be refunded and may incur an additional repeat delivery charge.
For customers who live further afield we use a national courier service and this continues with no changes. Please bear with us around Bank Holidays as national couriers are outside of our control.
Don’t forget, please only place orders or make edits to orders online or by phone. Any orders placed on social media may get missed or we may be unable to respond.
We really appreciate your continued custom and support.
